Rogue AP Detection
User can check Rogue Access Point or Ad-Hoc Device
BSS Type
once both are selected, Ad-Hoc mode and AP mode would be Site Surveyed.
If only Ad-Hoc Mode is selected, only Ad-Hoc setting device would be revealed onsite survey table.
If only AP Mode is selected, only AP setting device would be revealed on site survey table.
Band
Once 11b is selected, 11b band supported device would be Site Surveyed.
If 11g is selected, 11g band supported device would be revealed on site survey table.
If 11b is selected, 11b band supported device would be revealed on site survey table.
Security
When different security type is selected, matched device would be revealed on site survey table.
Rogue AP List
User can confirm each site survey data. Once defined as legal device, record would be shown and stored on AP List.

From a single page, you can see the following activity about your network and devices:
- Connection — if a PC on the network loses Internet connectivity, the link Not Connected appears. You can use Troubleshoot Connection to help determine the cause of the problem and get a suggestion for a solution. You can also check the speed of the connection.
- Network Magic — if your copy of Network Magic is out of date or you are unsure of the version you have installed, you can easily check the version and connect to the download area for new releases.
- News and Information — when you want to learn tips and tricks about keeping your network running smoothly and effectively, you can find current networking and product articles and information.
- Health and Security Alerts — If you aren’t sure the last time you installed updates to Windows, or you want to track intruders, you can view network alerts and access ways to fix the problem.
- Wireless Protection — you can prevent intruders from accessing your wireless network by using the Wireless Protection settings. These settings allow you to lock your network to prevent unauthorized users from logging on, hide your network name so others can't see that your network exists, and set up wireless security.
- Activity Monitor — when you want to check recent log-ins, network additions, and usage for a specific computer, you can view the Network History report.
- Remote Access — once you set up your Net2Go Web site, you can access the site and any details about Web-based file sharing and settings.
DWL-2100AP Installation Guide
- Connect the power adapter to the receptor and plug the other end of the power adapter to a wall outlet or power strip. The power LED will turn ON to indicate proper operation.
- Insert one end of the cable to the ethernet port on the back panel and the other end of the cable to the computer that will be used for configuration or to the local network.
- Assign a static IP adress for your computer (The IP Address must be within the same range as the access point. The IP Adress of the Access Point (DWL-2100AP) is 192.168.0.50, you can assign192.168.0.67 for your computer). Assign a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. (look picture).
- Open Your browser and type 192.168.0.50 into the URL address box [enter].
- Type "admin" for the username and leave the password field blank [Click OK].
- Once you have logged in, the Home screen will appear [Click Run Wizard].
- You will see the following screen [next].Insert your password and verify [next].
- Type yor SSID as you like [next].
- Insert your password for WEP [next].
- Click [restart] for save reboot your setting.Click [close].
- Enjoy
